This was held on 27th October, too late to make it to the November edition of the Chronicle. The Minutes (to be approved at the next AGM) are available on the Vllage Hall websitechittlehamptonvillagehall.co.uk.
In summary, Zoe Nicklin as Chair of the trustees presented the report of last year’s activities, which largely centred around the successful renovation project (inside and out) that was taking place over the period and outlined plans for the next phases. Martin Ives, as Treasurer, presented the signed accounts and was able to confirm that expenditure was in line with plan—showing a well managed project—and that usage of the Hall has been steadily increasing following the revamp.
Sadly, three Trustees confirmed their resignation—chief amongst these being Keith Routledge who has done such an outstanding job as Secretary and without whose drive and knowledge the transition to CIO, grant awards & management and dog shows could not have happened. Additional standing downs were Tony Dellow, who has been Bookings Secretary and Sally Broughton, who will fortunately continue on a more ad hoc basis, but most importantly retain command of the Annual Show. All three were most sincerely thanked by not only the other trustees but also the other meeting attendees. Louise Reed was unanimously voted in as a new Trustee. Two positions do however remain open.
Questions from the floor were taken and we trust answered positively. The Trustees would like to thank those who attended the meeting and to all for their continued support.
